The "Sasha Loves Brandy Alexander" cocktail

Yes, ideal for the current season of fireplaces and fandom!

2 oz. rakija
1 oz. dark creme de cacao
1 cup ice
1/2 cup of half & half
marshmallow creme (aka fluff)

Combine the above (except fluff) in a standard cocktail shaker. Mix and then pour into a martini glass. Make sure the rim of the glass is generously kissed with fluff.

For fluffing the rim of the glass, take a spatula and spread a 1/4 inch deep circle of fluff out on a foil-covered board that is wider than the diameter of your glass. Dip the rim and slowly twist up for the fluff to stick.

Rakija is Serbian for plum brandy or Å ljivovica -- only Stara Sokolova is served in my house but if you don't have to incur the wrath of Uncle Dusan, you can find fairly decent, inexpensive ones at BevMo.
